You are applying for the Next Generation Researcher Fellowship Program. The Fellowship program is developed for early career researchers - graduate students, post-docs, research scientists, and early career faculty - to provide exposure, support, and training to explore open science practices and tools.

There is a lot of debate about what Open Science and Open Research means. It's a living movement, still being defined by research communities across the world. For the purposes of this program, we use open research to mean an approach to research that values integrity, the ability to reproduce (or replicate or repeat) results, and transparency about how research is conducted. We recognize that "open" can mean different things depending on the context in which the work is situated. "As open as possible, as closed as necessary..."
