Medical Students:

Medical students interested in enrolling in the Medicine in Kenya elective during the 2026-2027 academic year must attend or send a proxy to a scheduling session on December 17th, 2025 from 5:30-6:15PM (registration page). Before attending the session, students must complete the following form and upload a copy of their CV and personal statement.

Please note that once scheduled for the elective, students will also be required to enroll in the elective in Evalue at the appropriate time to finalize enrollment and complete online pre-departure forms for the Study Abroad office, which will include an academic and disciplinary check. An orientation for all students scheduled during the 26-27 AY will be held in the spring.

PLEASE NOTE:

Scheduling for this elective is done via lottery; those interested in completing the elective during the 2022-2023 academic year will be required to attend or send a proxy to a required lottery meeting, to be scheduled at a later date.

In addition to submitting this form, registration via iAbroad will also be required. As part of this form, you will be required to submit a personal statement and copy of your CV. Additional details will be sent via email.

All trainees will be invited to an orientation, typically held in the Spring.
