Computing time on the IU large memory cluster, Carbonate. With any such allocation comes an allocation of 50 TB of spinning disk storage space on the IU Data Capacitor II.

Spinning disk storage space on the IU Slate System in excess of 5 TB.

Archival storage on the IU Scholarly Data Archive - default of 50 TB stored in duplicate in two different tape silos.

Extended consulting or programming - extensive consulting on genomic software, genome analysis, or programming assistance. (For work that takes a staff day or less, just send email to ncgas at iu.edu). Please select this option for projects that will take more than 40 hrs of consulting. Selecting this option will initiate follow up by the team to determine available time and appropriateness of projects for long term consulting.

Allocation of permanent storage space in IUScholarWorks for final copies of data sets or tarballs of executables/data/scripts to be made available publicly now or after an escrow period.

Accounts will be by default set up within two business days (using the US calendar for identifying official US holidays that are not business days).

Following the basic precedent established by TeraGrid and XSEDE, allocation of computational resources (and associated 50 TB default allocation of disk storage) are by default annual allocations, good for 12 months. Researchers are welcome to apply annually to renew allocations. Allocations of disk storage beyond the default 50 TB are by default annual allocations. Allocations of tape storage are by default three years.
